We keep all of our kids busy at First Pres. That's because we know how hard it is for kids to be followers of Jesus Christ in this world of ours. And we have fun! 

Our Youth Group/Confirmation Kids are always busy sharing their faith and reaching out into the world. They have participated in "THE SOUND-OFF" in order to raise money for kids at-risk in our own nation. They turned off their computers, their televisions, their radios, ipods, EVERYTHING electronic for three consecutive days, and encouraged people in our church to pledge their efforts. They raised over $500 for at-risk kids just by being quiet! ANd they had a great time doing it!

We also keep our Youth Group/Youngers busy! Every Sunday kids take part in "What's in the Box? Time." Together we learn how God speaks through each one of us, young or old, as we look to see what surprise is inside our Box! Kids supply the surprise and together we learn how to follow Jesus Christ.

We love our kids in worship with us every Sunday, and so they worship with us. If the kids want to go to Sunday Celebration though, that's available. They get together half way through the worship, just before the sermon starts, and go together, to their special space. They have a great time and they come back to worship in time for the last hymn and the benediction.
